HOW TO SAVE A PDF
Not all programs output PDFs the same way. Follow the steps below to successfully create a print ready PDF based on the appropriate program. Click here to download the instructions.
INDESIGN | ILLUSTRATOR | PHOTOSHOP | PUBLISHER | WORD
INDESIGN
1. Download our Adobe PDF preset for Indesign
2. File > Export...
3. Export dialog box:
4. Navigate the desired folder and rename the file
5. Format: Adobe PDF (Print)
6. Click Save
7. Export Adobe PDF dialog box:
8. Adobe PDF Preset: [TomahawkPrinting]
9. Click Export to output the PDF
10. Open the PDF for final proofing.
* If it requires bleeds, be sure the size is 1/4 inch larger
than the desired trim size. Learn more about bleeds
ILLUSTRATOR
1. Download our Adobe PDF preset for Illustrator
2. File > Save As...
3. Save As dialog box:
4. Navigate the desired folder and rename the file
5. Format: Adobe PDF (pdf)
6. Click Save
7. Save Adobe PDF dialog box:
8. Adobe PDF Preset: [TomahawkPrinting]
9. Click Export to output the PDF
10. Open the PDF for final proofing.

PHOTOSHOP
1. Download our Adobe PDF preset for Photoshop
2. File > Save As...
3. Save As dialog box:
4. Navigate the desired folder and rename the file
5. Format: Photoshop PDF
6. Click Save
7. Save Adobe PDF dialog box:
8. Adobe PDF Preset: [TomahawkPrinting]
9. Click Save PDF
10. Open the PDF for final proofing.

WORD DOCUMENTS
1. File > Save As
2. Navigate the desired folder and rename the file
3. Format: PDF
4. Click Save
PUBLISHER
1. File > Save As
2. Navigate the desired folder and rename the file
3. Save As Type: PDF(*.pdf)
4. Optimize for > Click Change
5. Choose High Quality Press
6. Click Print Options
7. Choose One page per sheet
8. Size: Custom > Change to the size of your artboard. If it bleeds, include the bleed size.
9. Click OK > OK > Save
10. Open the PDF for final proofing.
